TrafficSpeeds - TMC Speed Forecast by Journey Dynamics is a TMC code based time dependent speed forecast. For every TMC code on the entire network TrafficSpeeds - TMC Speed Forecast provides a forecast speed for every hour of the day and day of the week. By using a speed forecast based on TMC codes the overhead placed on the routing engine is significantly reduced allowing for faster calculation of time dependent routes. TrafficSpeeds - TMC Speed Forecast also ships with a copy of TrafficSpeeds – Link Level (Journey Dynamics link level speed forecast) for use when post processing the route to obtain a highly accurate journey time.
